The first vehicle we will be covering is the Semovente da 75/46 M43, a tier III 4.7 Italian casemate Tank Destroyer. At face value, the M43 is very similar to the German StuG III G in both looks and performance. However, the closer comparison would be to the Jagdpanzer IV, as it is the same battle rating and is more similar than the StuG III G.

It's one of my favourite tank destroyers, but its BR of 4.7 always seemed off to me. It's basically on par with a stug G (same total frontal armor, less crew, slightly better penetration) which sits at 4.0. Now I don't think the M43 should necessarily be 4.0 as well, but 4.3 seems right to me. It.
